I have always been drawn to analysing complex situations, finding the important connections, working out what matters, and explaining it in a way that makes it easier to see.
For much of my career, I did that in complex technical environments through systems engineering, integration and interoperability. My work involved understanding customer needs, exploring how different parts of a system interact, and working with people across teams and organisations to develop solutions that work in practice.
Inside Complexity grows from that experience and a wider curiosity about how we understand complex situations, what we discover when we look beyond the individual parts, and how we can put that understanding to use.
